What is JADAR? JADAR Travel Network (JTN) has been in business since 2019 and is part of JADAR Travel and Cruise, a travel agency located in Senoia, Georgia. Because of our substantial revenue, industry connections and buying power we can offer you very high commissions. What type of Travel Advisor is joining JADAR Travel Network? JADAR is a fast paced and quickly growing company. We are looking for inexperienced and experienced Travel Advisors that want to grow their business and earn more money. We will patiently work with and coach brand new agents with no prior travel experience and we offer various continuing educational opportunities. How much does it cost? We offer the lowest entry and ongoing cost to start and build your business, so you control your costs based on your business needs as you learn and earn. It’s the most value packed Travel Advisor Program available in the industry. You get to customize the plan to suit your business. Do I have to change the way I do business? You will continue to manage your business as you decide. You’ll provide our agency numbers as the booking credentials and commissions will be paid to you through JADAR Travel Network. You’ll have access to all of our tools to help you be efficient and successful. Do I need Errors and Omissions insurance? Your membership with JADAR includes Errors and Omissions insurance for travel booked when using our industry credentials. Will I keep ownership of my clients? Yes, as an independent contractor, you are self-employed and your client list remains yours. We keep this information strictly confidential. What organizations is JTN a member of? JADAR Travel Network is a member of CLIA and CCRA/TRUE. Can I have brochures shipped to me? Yes, you can order supplier brochures and have them shipped directly to your home or business address. What are your support hours? We are here to help Mon-Fri. from 10am to 6pm EST or via email anytime. We respond to emails within 24 hours or less. Do you offer blocked/group space on cruise lines? Yes, we offer group and blocked space sailings that you can book. Take advantage of special pricing and amenities for your clients with our group space. Can I book air through JADAR? Yes, we have a robust air program. Do I have to book everything through JADAR? As an independent contractor you are not required to book through one agency. When you use JADAR credentials, you earn the industry’s highest commissions and our exclusive JADAR Elite Club points. These valuable points earn you recognition trips and can convert to dollars or dollar equivalent each year. The more you book through JADAR, the better your reward. Can I make money as a Travel Agent? Yes, you can make money, but please have a realistic expectation. There are two main ways to make money:

TRAINING
What training can I access? JADAR Travel Network believes in continuing education to enhance your skills as a Travel Professional. We provide a self-paced orientation training, plus an instructor-led Travel Agent Certification training; We encourage you to utilize the extensive training modules and achieve the Travel Expert designation provided by our Supplier partners. These training programs are digital and can be accessed at your convenience, enabling you to learn and grow at your pace. Live events highlighting education and networking with are also an important component of professional growth. We encourage our members to attend the Annual CLIA Convention, CRUISE360, as well as, other travel and cruise related conventions and workshop (both local, regional, national and international). Does JADAR offer FAM trips? Suppliers recognize the high quality professionalism of a JADAR Travel Network member. We are continually provided with Familiarization (FAM) trips for our members that meet supplier eligibility requirements. Does JADAR offer a CLIA card? Yes. Once a JADAR member has achieved CLIA’s requirements through our credentials, they may apply for a CLIA card. We require an agent affiliate must work a minimum of 20 hours per week and earn a minimum of $5000 in commissions annually to receive their card and benefits. Agents can optionally, apply for and obtain the CLIA card at their expense. CLIA offers industry recognized and valued certification and continuing education training, including ship inspection opportunities. ACCOUNTING AND COMMISSIONS How often do I get paid? Earned commissions are deposited in your eWallet and are available to you once commission is received from the supplier/vendor. When does my booking qualify for payment? Typically commissions will be available in your eWallet once they are received from the vendor/supplier. It is the member’s responsibility to follow up with the supplier if JADAR has not received the commission. Can I charge service fees to my client? Definitely! You may use our credit card merchant account to process any service charge provided you have the client’s permission. JADAR charges a 5% processing fee on all merchant charges. How does JADAR track my commission? When you make a reservation, you will report the sale in our reporting tool available in your back office and we monitor it for you for commission purposes. We do all the work for you, giving you more time to do what you do best, sell! remember to keep a record of each booking. You can track all your reservations anytime, anywhere on the supplier’s website with your supplier-supplied credentials. Can I see my bookings and commission report? Yes. You will have 24/7 access to your Back Office where this information is reported. MARKETING What type of marketing does JADAR offer? We are currently working, with your suggestion and contribution, on a robust marketing program to benefit all our agents. In the meantime, we can coach you as to how to effectively co-opt marketing resources and collaterals supplied by our vendor/supplier partners to market your business. We currently conduct social media marketing, direct mail campaigns and share promotions as we receive them. High performing agents may become eligible for free leads through the signature JADARLeads Program. |
